Overview

The Vagabond is a well known Wichita Coffee Hotspot offering Free Wireless internet. Close to the downtown area, The Vagabond is almost perfectly centered and only a short drive away from most anywhere in the Wichita Kansas area. Sit and sip on your favorite blend of coffee, mixed drink or beer and appease your hunger with a small snack. If you are into the MegaTouch machines, seclude yourself at the end of the bar and play to your hearts content.

Atmosphere

The Vagabond is a relatively quiet environment with the main background noise of other patrons and a hint of upbeat, but not really mainstream music.

Seating

One wall is lined with tables and new high-back booth style seating, allowing for perfect privacy from other booth sitting patrons. Lighting for the booths is excellent for reading or socializing with friends. Out in the middle of the small coffee shop are several high tables and low tables which are perfect for socializing or just hanging out.

For a quieter area, step into the less popular but cozy back room for a bit more privacy or on a cool summer night, step out to the back patio and enjoy your beverage among soft lighting and tiki-torches.

Food Menu

The food menu is heavily lacking but The Vagabond does offer a few "snacks" as they are referred to on the menu. Enjoy a decent sized plate of Hummus n' Pita, a personal pan pizza, variety of bagels, muffins or a slice of cheesecake. While the food selection won't make you full, it will at least ease the grumbling in your stomach.

Beverage List

Beverages are where The Vagabond shine. While the small cafe is mainly known for being a coffee shop where they offer the typical Cappuccino's, Mocha's and Chai Latte's, The Vagabond also offers the essentials such as your favorite soda, fruit juice or a refreshing glass of milk.

If you are in the mood to relax, enjoy a domestic bottle of beer or if you have heightened tastes, sip on a bottle of Blue Moon, Newcastle, Sam Adams, a sweet Woodchucks or one of the other fine premium beers offered.

Looking for something a little harder? Feel free to order your favorite liquor or mixed drink. The Vagabond has a wide selection of Martini's to quench just about any craving you might be having. You can also enjoy a classy, aged, Single Matt Scotch or fine Kentucky Bourbon.

Electrical Outlets

For the most part, The Vagabond is garnished with plenty of juice to power your laptop device. The lining wall of booths each has it's own electric outlet to power the small table lamp on each table. The back room is also plentifully supplied. The only areas not equipped with power are the bar seating and center tables. If the booths or back room is occupied, you might be waiting a bit for power as the cafe tends to have a slow turn-around.

Parking

Parking directly in front of The Vagabond can sometimes be sparse, depending on the time of day but there is usually a parking spot not too far away.
