Internet Explorer 7.0 is the latest version of Microsoft's internet browser. Features over IE6 include tabbed pages, addons, tightened security and compliance to the new Web 2.0 standards.

Even though Microsoft has been involved in the internet browser business for a while, (IE3 on windows 95) That doesn't mean they hold a very good track record for security. (Despite their market share in the browser industry).
