Programs to check if port 80 is being used by another program, but no known webservers are installed (ie apache or IIS)

Installing Uniform Server, it would not run on port 80, giving an error that there was another program using port 80. After doing some research, I came across two programs which might be the problem:

  • Skype (uses port 80 & 443)
  • AVG 8.5 (Active Link-Shield)

Change the port on Skype to resolve the conflict

Disable the AVG Active Link-Shield to resolve the conflict

(I really need to start doing a copy of my body before I save... I had a bunch more written, saved and it crapped out... grr!! So, this is the shortened version)
